Annual Bisbee Historic Home Tour
The 29th Annual Bisbee Historic Home Tour – “Classic & Quirky” is showcasing 13 of its late 19th and early 20th century homes and the church will also be open for viewing. Docents will be at each home to explain its history and answer any questions about the homes. Attend this event in Bisbee’s Warren District, approximately 2 miles outside Historic Bisbee on Friday, November 25th, 10 AM – 4 PM, Saturday, November 26th, 10 AM – 3 PM. This event is accompanied by the 10th Annual “Chairs of Bisbee” Art Chair Auction on Saturday benefiting the artists and the Woman’s Club Scholarship Fund. Tickets to the home tour can be obtained through the Bisbee Visitor’s Center for $12/$15 good for both days of the show.
Bisbee Festival of Lights
Each year on the Friday after Thanksgiving, Bisbee begins its Festival of Lights celebration, which is a fun introduction to the holiday season unique to our town. The celebration starts at 6pm at Grassy Park, next to the Mining and Historical Museum, below the Copper Queen Hotel. Watch this video of a previous year’s festival to get an idea of the holiday spirit that will ensue.
Bisbee After 5… Every Second Saturday
Bisbee, Arizona supports a unique town-wide art walk on the second Saturday of each month called BISBEE AFTER 5. The art walk showcases over 30 shops and galleries, which stay open past their normal closing times and offer special sales, refreshments, live music, and more! ”The Drawings and Mixed Media by Eleven Bisbee Artists” at the Subway Gallery and the “Altered Books” auction to benefit our local library at the SAM•POE Gallery are just a couple of examples of the intriguing goings on one might encounter during their evening stroll. Many other galleries and shops will be hosting events and displaying their wares highlighting our vibrant art scene here in Bisbee. Come join us this Saturday from 5-8pm, or even during the day, for various cultural and shopping experiences. Halloween Celebrations
Halloween is one heck of a long, fun-filled weekend in Bisbee, Arizona. Friday night there’s live music at various venues, as well as the kickoff of The Annual Comedy Show. Saturday will be hopping starting with an all day music festival, ADELANTE, at City Park. Then on to the big Costume competition and party at the Old Bisbee Brewery, dancing in the streets and much merriment everywhere! Monday, actual Halloween night, showcases the Bisbee Royale presenting Sergio Mendoza Y La Orkestra at the Central School Project. Check out the details at www.bisbeeenclave.com. Bisbee 1000 Stair Climb

The Bisbee 1000 Stair Climb is the most unique physical fitness challenge in the USA, established to “save the stairs” that wind throughout the Europeanesque town of Old Bisbee. This event occurs each year in mid-October and encourages physical fitness regardless of age, level of fitness, ability and available time. The Bisbee 1000 allows you to use any combination of walking, running and resting to traverse nine sets of steps and numerous back-roads at a mile-high altitude. While conquering over 1,000 steps you will be serenaded by musicians playing at strategic points along the route. Bisbee Wine Festival
The Vintage Bisbee Wine Festival is coming up this Saturday October 8, 2011 from 4pm to 7 pm at City Park in downtown Old Bisbee. The event will showcase a selection of wines from all over the world, as well as wines from vineyards in Elgin and other Arizona wineries. Sample the best of Bisbee’s restaurants, such as Cafe Roka and a host of others. The Wine Festival is sponsored by the Bisbee Rotary Club, and all the delicious samplings are included in the cost of admission. Tickets are $45 per person and can be purchased through PayPal or at the Copper Queen Mine Museum on Main Street in Bisbee. Much fun will be had!
